Matter of fact, I've only seen 1 police car here in 6 months. You never here sirens, you NEVER see a car pulled over by the cops being issued a summons.
I'm not saying it's the perfect system. AND I'M CONSIDERED AN INFIDEL BY MOST PEOPLE HERE, but as is Asian custom, they don't like confrontation and won't tell you that to your face.
What I am saying is I feel more personal freedom here than I have in a very long time. New York and New Jersey has turned into my definition of a police state and the longer I stay here, the harder it will be to return to the US.
