It's because these fools do nothing but talk out of their asses, they have no idea how things actually work in the real world. They want "the rich" to pay a higher percent even though the rich has always paid in more and been carrying everyone else on their backs.
Only fair way I see to do it would be to get rid of all taxes other than sales tax. jack it up and split it between the state and government. Who ever spends more will be paying more.
