What Gregg is doing can't be considered as a violation of zoning laws since there is no impact on traffic in the neighborhood, which is why such zoning laws exist. What it boils down to is the neighborhood and police trying to tell them what to do in the comfort of their own home.
If there were 20 cars lining the street and they were shooting on the roof or the front yard, I could understand but that isn't the case.
