As I have said before...when I lived in South Carolina, BMW built a plant in the Greenville/Spartanburg area where I lived.
They built it there for 2 big reasons:
No union.
And the state gave them a ton of tax breaks.
The result? It created a boon to the economy in the upstate of South Carolina. The whole area was traditionally a textile workplace. That got moved to China because it was just too expensive to operate there anymore.

Why did it get too expensive to operate in SC? You surely can't expect us to compete with China? There will always be a cheaper place to manufacture. No American wants the life of a Chinese factory worker.
What if there was a third world country where people looked and sounded just like us? There were a thousand couples just like your wife and you and they started up websites just like yours but were happy to make $10,000 charging 5 dollars a month for the same product/experience you provide?
