Well you said it, you get addicted. And from this quote it looks like very seriously. I mean everybody wants it more non stop (runs out and wants more).
This quote contradicts with what you say that they can be normal. How can you be normal if you want more at the very moment it runs out? Sounds like a non stop thing.
