why do vegans add tofu to everything? that shit isn't right for a number of reasons. I can easily do a good vegetarian lasagne that maintains its traditional taste but zucchinni and eggplant are far better textures... plus i'd be using real cheese heh

i use Tofutti cream cheese. and its just as good as the regular kind. For the cheese Daiya Shreds, Mozzarella. Its the only vegan cheese I have worked with that taste great, and melts.
I rarely cook with tofu, yet this recipe calls for it in one of the fillings, the filling turns out very nice.
My favorite part about this recipe is not having to cook the noodles prior.
