The Apple ecosystem, the availability of Apps (for both desktop and mobile) exceeds anything any alternative offers.
There's more software available for the Mac and in the rare case you must have a piece of Windows software you can run that too.
As for the iPhone and iPad, nothing Android comes close - not remotely.
