Yeah I've been on the 2 before, but that was 25 years ago, and in a car
Getting to La Canada's about a 180 mile jog for me so the 2 to the Mojave and back home in a day is a bit of a stretch, I do get down to SFV from time to time when I feel like lunch at the Yoshinoya in Reseda (beef bowl!) or Cafe Versailles in Encino (cuban food!)
I have an old drinking buddy in Tehachapi I go see from time to time, that would make a good day ride, hit the 2 have lunch at Newcomb's then go on through the desert and get hammered at my buddy's
and back home the next day.
But not this time of year.
maybe in the fall.
