This seems bizarre, seems like everybody was writing him off now suddenly he's out of his coma and has gone home.

When you read the story it's far from what you were hoping to read.

To me it sounds like the family had the doctors bring him out of the induced coma and he's pretty much a vegetable and they'd rather have him at home where they'll try to rehabilitate him.
