Akita's are far stronger than pitbulls, nobody is pushing to ban those, why? Because they were never bred for fighting.
In contrast any responsible breeder would put down a dog that is dangerous to anyone or anything. It would kill me if that happened to one of mine, but I don't have dogs that are bred for violence either.

Pit Bulls have been bred for the sole purpose of fighting and killing. The only morons who have pits are meth heads and 20 year olds who can't pull their fucking pants up.

Please kindly take your heads out of your asses and stop spewing bullshit.
A: Pitbulls were bread for taking down wild bores, that's why they have powerful jaws and strong upper body muscles.
B: Pitbulls are only aggressive when they feel threatened, most of these stories always leave out one small detail... The "victim" doing something that causes the Pitbull to attack.
C: My pitbull just turned 5 years old, he lays in the livingroom while my 2 year old nephew sits on him, pulls at his ears, and all around abuses the absolute shit out of him. You know what he does in that case? If he's feeling overly annoyed by it, he gets up and walks somewhere else and lays down, or he'll sometimes retaliate by standing up and attacking the kid with licks and kisses until the kid runs away laughing.
He's been in a major dog fight in his life, my mom had gotten a half sheppard, half rottweiler puppy around the same age as him from the humane society when they were both very little, they had raised side by side up until 1.5 years ago when my mom decided to get another little dog, apparently the adopted dog didn't like that my pit and the new dog were getting along so well, he had spent 3 days of on and off attacks defending himself from this dog who was trying to kill him. Not once did he attack back and cause any harm to this dog attempting to kill him. Now he has scars all over his body from her attacking him.
He's by far the sweetest and most loving dog I have EVER came across in my life... I attribute all that to the fact that he was raised right, and given proper care. Just like anything else.
The whole stigmata against Pits are purely because of their strength. They're also not even close to holding the record for the most dog attacks. Just the most dog attacks reported on TV and in the media... You know what dog actually does hold that record? The beloved Dalmatian.
So please, for both your intelligence, and our annoyance.. Educate yourself on the breed, and dog breeds in general before you go into full blown retard mode.
