When it shoots back the difficulty levels get multiplied by hundreds of thousands. Normally because now you and the target are both moving and avoiding the others bullets.
Try going to a combat pistol range and running it once or twice.
It is no where as easy as it looks, a decent score requires a great deal of skill and training, like any other sport or competitive activity.

I agree, shooting at stationary paper targets with ear plugs and eye protection doesnt prepare anyone for shit.
