If this man didn't have a firearm he would be alive today; Instead of being one of forty witnesses to a shooting he instantly made himself a target and he got shot and killed because of it.
Truth be told... It's surprising he got a shot off. More than half of us wouldn't have been able to.

This is the kind of shit that sounds good in theory but is completely idiotic. Worse, it would takes only a handful of minutes to verify just how stupid this line of reasoning is.
