that is truly sad and horrifying
i recently watched a movie based on the true story of Irish religious homes taking in pregnant girls and selling their babies without their consent. they had the girls work day and night in exchange for the room and board for them and their infants. they were able to see their babies only once/week. they sold the babies off to American couples. there are foundations now that help these Irish women find their children that are grown now here in the states. here i thought Ireland was scandalous after i saw the movie.....now this
