As the article said...Washington D.C. has the current highest minimum wage. Any of y'all ever visited that city?
They also have the strictest gun laws in the U.S.
Check the figures on poverty, cost of living, and gun deaths for Washington D.C. if you want to know how this will all end up when it plays out in Seattle.
My guess is this: The cost of living will now rise in Seattle even further. That will eliminate any small gain made by raising the minimum wage.
And nothing will change...except some politicians get to use this as a populist issue to get more votes and spend more of their sorry lives as bureaucrats that never get a "real job".
