america seems to be full of "bleeding heart patriots" and from what I have seen, the politicians you do put in power are not exactly the sharpest tools in the box, so it does not take a real genius to run the USA...
have the "bleeding heart patriot" sign a vow of lifetime poverty, give his family free medicare, and a minimum wage salary...
I know the USA has a tradition of treating their corporate political masters like super heroes, but how about some real change?

why not make them practice what they preach?

LIterally make it impossible for a politician to accumulate any sort of wealth...make them like monks...create a separate god for them to worship called "the people" and make them worship you live on TV...
