I don't care for Crossfit and I do agree that it is overhyped, but your statement is wrong.
Those "dumb bitches" are not as dumb as you think they are. Essentially it boils down to not exceeding the fitness levels and corresponding weights for each excercise that they have reached pre-pregnancy. If maintenance is the goal, not gains, working out/lifting weights is perfectly fine and is a great way for women to maintain a good physique while pregnant (in addition to many other benefits).
