Couldn't vote sorry, I mostly get mine from Social Media/SE. There is a VAST ocean of traffic to tap into from Twitter and Tumblr, to Pinterest, Facebook and Tubes if you know what you are doing. I also class Tubes as Social Media these days due to them giving me access to stats (views/comments/up votes/down votes/etc) for free. So I make use of all that free data to monitor trends and niches (Yes, I'm aware of hitbots etc, but their influence on a popular actress/actor/scene/niche is negligible). The main thing to remember about tapping into the ocean of Social Media traffic is that 99% of people seem to miss entirely that while it is easy to get it requires you to actually work at it daily/hourly to make the most of it. It's certainly not a "fire and forget" source of traffic it was even up to last year for some site (Tumblr being the obvious one to mention!). It needs constant monitoring and tweaking daily, the rewards make it worthwhile though, obviously.

The 2 most important things I have learned from tapping into Social Media traffic sources are:

1) Get to know your sponsor/site owner/reps very well. You can't effectively promote their, or any for that matter, product via Social Media without knowing the people behind it are there to help YOU do this. It is key that you find a good rep/owner and work with them. Yes, I know most reps in Adult are ridiculously terribad at their jobs, but there are a few superstars out there. Find them, work with them, make money with them.

2) Get the models/sites I'm promoting to work FOR me. I can not emphasize this enough. It's supposed to be a partnership so targeting the ones that, again, are prepared to work with you makes this a lot easier. After all, they have the fan base and target audience already in place before you've sent a single unique. So tapping into that to get your slice of the pie is a no brainer. The 99% don't seem to "get" that, though.

Getting traffic isn't the difficult part at all these days, to be honest with you. However, while there is an ocean of traffic to plunder these days, the trick as always remains the same... catching the right fish with your hooks. But that would be going off topic, so I'll just leave it there
