You do know that senator Diane Feinstein has every right to be anti-gun, don't you? Her windows were shot out of her home in the 70's. And when Feinstein was serving under George Moscone, she found the dead bodies of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and city supervisor Harvey Milk, after they were murdered by former city supervisor Dan White, who had recently resigned. Milk was her friend, and she found the guy shot. Even if you don't agree with her politics, you have to at least give her a little leeway to say what she wants on the subject.
