Here's why I think that song + vid kills it for the #1 1980s song + vid.
3. the song is fantastic and has all the iconic 80s sounds- guitar, synth, all that!
2. the vid is classic 80s tech with the guitar laser and the ending, the right amount of 80s cheese too.
