His dad put a ton of money into trust funds so the FED's cannot touch it upon his arrest. There is a story somewhere (not sure if documented but I believe it is) that when his dad was arrested. Dan cashed out money from his trust fund for bail. His dad did not talk to him for 6 months because he would rather sit in jail then give the FED's the money that was in the trust fund. I havent searched for it in google today, and cant remember where I heard it. See if you can track it down
