...selling sidebar link on *the actual URLs of my two sites* at $$$ and you can help me make sure Google knows about this by using my [email protected] address so that they can penalize both of us.
You have now told Google the exact urls of your sites while offering to sell links on them.

Bad Idea #1.

Everyone who replies to your Gmail address is telling Google that they're interested in buying links. And anyone who complete a link sale or purchase via Gmail is providing them with all the evidence they need to devalue your sites or remove them from the listings completely.

Bad Idea #2.

The Big G's webmaster guidelines clearly say that any attempts to manipulate SERPS in this manner will be dealt with in ways that no webmaster wants to see happen.

Seriously, when are the professional webmasters on this board going to realize that Gmail doesn't only scan every email that goes through their servers just to decide what advertising to display.

Tip: Remember that this includes all email addresses which are not [email protected] but also those addresses from other domains which have been set up to run through the Gmail servers. (Really, did you think they provide that extra service for your benefit?)

Good luck with your business...and maybe next time think about some of these things before posting your thread. There are ways to do these things that are a bit safer.
