So for those of you who know, I did some producing years ago. I am looking to get into just as a hobby photographing my girlfriend and other hot girls for fun (not porn).

I want to spend $400 max... ideally $300. For both the body and the basic 18-55mm lens. Refurbished ok. But I am not looking to scout craigslist and shit like that.

I am currently looking at both the Canon EOS Rebel T3 ($319.95) and the Nikon D3200 ($399.95) both refurbished through B&H Photo.

Any suggestions?
