I find it highly unlikely I'll ever own a apple computer. I tried, and it didn't make sense to me. It was more expensive, not any faster or better, had fewer choices, and less options.

You want something smaller than a laptop? Have you even seen the macbook air? There is a difference between a "macbook" and "macbook air." Imagine 2 ipads stacked on top of one another, well the macbook air is thinner than that. The macbook air is for people who want something small, light, and thin like a tablet, but with the power and functionality of a laptop.
Apple is more expensive because the user experience is superior to that of the PC. People who say it's not are the same type of people who would say Windows is better no matter how bad it was. Apple has fewer choices and less options as in what? I can't think of anything crucially important that I do with a PC, that a Mac can't do better.
