That's great. I doubt you are doing any heavy work with it though. How is for HD video editing at 1080P, or 30 + tracks in the Windows equiv of logic?

I'm really not missing the point, just disagreeing with you. I doubt you do any heavy lifting on a PC, no 1080P video, no huge multi track music with lots of VSTs etc. For YOUR use I am sure it is perfect.
If I am going away and need to work, I take the MacBook. It's light anyway. If I am going away and not working, I take the iPad. I'd not take both. Both have different jobs. Because you don't *do* any heavy lifting, the hybrid thing works for you and that's great. I was just taking the piss because the surface is one of the biggest flops in MS's history.
