Yeah - I live pretty much in the 'Middle of nowhere' (Teignmouth Devon) and it has taken that long to find a legit local person to do the job...
Had 3 Quotes -
1) British Gas. So much for the 'A-Team' style adverts ! They were more concerned with selling me a service plan for a new boiler, than installing the boiler itself....
= FAIL
2) Local 'Salt Of The Earth' type guy, recommended to me by a pal... Nice bloke etc, but due to previous booked up commitments, wouldn't have been ale to start, until the end of NEXT WEEK...
= UNFORTUNATE FAIL
3) Guy from the people that handle my property rentals for me - They send guys (Whom they have on retainers) directly to the landlords properties that are in 'distress'... I asked if the same same service was extended to the landlords themselves, and they said 'Sure - No Problems'
So I had it done by them
Anyway - Having hot water again is cool
May even take a shower b4 lunch... Well... maybe...
