Sly I completely agree... but that's a more advanced point of view. The starting point is to measure $ per click. If anyone isn't making decisions based on that, they are an asshat who will never get to your equation for step #2. You are 100% right that not all clicks are the same, and there is value in knowing the resource cost per click on each click you push.
