Though younger generations have very little to do with Russian tradition/religion and these guys can barely speak Russian that can be understood. It's funny to listen to - they speak like US tourists that learned a few phrases from a book with american accents that make them hard to understand. The older ones are certainly a colorful bunch... looking like Ukrainian folk dancers. Always dressed in handmade traditional clothes, purple, gold/yellow etc. I doubt many even live in that little village anymore, which is really a tourist spot for sport fishing. I think the bulk of them live in Homer.
