It's probably pretty dead. PQ lost by a landslide this year. I was watching a report on it during breakfast and the estimate is that only the hardcore separatists voted for the PQ this time around, and they are a dying breed.
Most Quebecers, I think anyway, don't want to separate. They like things the way they are. For me personally, I love it here. I wish the language law could be be relaxed a little, but that is unlikely. On her way out last night, Marois proved to anyone still listening that she didn't learn her lesson. She said "The french language is in danger: Defend it!" or something to that extent. What a twit.
Anyway, this week its off to a nice English speaking pub for a few celebratory pitchers. Woo woo woo.
