Will you still be at this job in 5 years, 10 years, 15 years?
The odds are likely that one or both of you will eventually switch careers. Unless, of course, you make millions in porn then it doesn't matter.
If you don't make millions, even just doing cam shows will likely be something that is online in some way for a very long time, if not forever. Maybe your future job(s) won't care, maybe they will. The question is are you willing to risk it?
Here's my advice. Don't do it just yet. First, select a few programs that allow you to promote cams or solo/couple style sites. Build sites and do the things that will drive traffic and sales to those sites. This will let you make a little money and get your feet wet in the world of building traffic.
If then you still want to take the plunge you will have some knowledge on how to promote yourself and it can help you become more successful.
Just my 2cents.
