its not as been shown in the video. But yes you should learn the language if you would like to receive benefits from the government.
We welcome people to be safe but we don't need people to cripple the system. If you want to work you need to speak dutch. I have lots of Irish friends who are working here at tech companies and all of them are learning dutch as they would like to stay here. They are far in their twenties.
If you would like to stay here and work and get benefits then you should learn Dutch.
