Yes, that is definitely what the Russians need now - a provocation after they are about to get everything they wanted (and may probably get even more soon) without firing a single bullet, not that they would ever plan or expect to do so as they hold all the triumphs.

And the west trying to impose sanctions on somebody, who is taking advantage of a coup, that is more likely than not about to become a total political disaster, that in order to secure their own interests, properties and people in one of the most politically unstable countries of the post 89 era. It does look a little bit pathetic.
