I figured it out...sort of. The main error I was getting was "failed to open stream: Too many open files". After some Googling, I've pretty much determined that this is happening due to restrictions placed on the server I'm on in Apache.
It's actually the second time today my host's restrictions have caused me to be unable to use a tube script.
