The problem with your pool is that the vast majority of Americans don't care about what happens on the International scene. You know, those are the types that drive yellow Volkswagen Beetles with the black dots on them and a huge flower on the dash; They couldn't pick out Ukraine on a map if their life depended on it.
I saw John McCain on the news last night talking about how this was all Obama's fault because Obama was "too weak" and "too nice" with Putin. Oddly enough I don't see McCain - a Congressman - coming up with any options, and ironically the last time Russia invaded another country was Georgia in 2008 and what did the Republican White House do? That's right, NOTHING. Russia got away with it in 2008, US did nothing, which gave Russia free hand to do whatever they want.
