When discussing the above, how do you refer to them?
Obviously there are different points of view and that's what I'm looking to discuss in this thread.
IMHO, if not for the "Models", "Talent", "Sluts", "Whores", etc... We would have zero business. Because of this, I typically speak in more positive ways about the ladies I work with whether they are part of the conversation or not. On occasion, I have been known to refer to a model as a bitch but that's when a specific model has acted as such, not referring to them as "bitches" in general. Although we've all done that jokingly from time to time too.
I understand there are some productions where the theme revolves around degradation and that's fine with me so long as the model understands what she's getting into. Take Kink.com content for example. They coach the model respectfully, shoot the scene which is typically very hardcore and/or degrading, then shoot an exit interview where the models are clearly happy.
To sum it up, the way I see it is that just because a model is willing to be degraded on camera (or even off) does not mean that the door is wide open to assign disrespectful titles to them.
What are your thoughts?
