What about Poland? There are Russian speaking citizens in Poland right, lots of them? Let's just allow Russia to invade Poland. Again. Not to mention Hitler tried to protect all of the "German speaking" citizens in Poland once before.

I have not heard this. Texas is... Well, special. They seem to think they are their own nation anyhow. Would we let Texas leave? Most likely not... right up to the point where they took up arms. I don't see the US government sending in troops to open fire on Americans who don't want to be Americans.
