No, I'm actually a friendly sort, and talked with a bunch of people that day as I recall. One guy was a race car mechanic from Bellflower, he had been up to Winnipeg a couple of times to race. Summer was over as far as everyone there was concerned. It was a cloudy day, I'll give them that, but it was plenty warm enough for me for a day at the beach.
btw, that sand sculpture I built? It was a giant octopus with 7 1/2 tentacles, crushing a school bus. :D
