Not seeing much of a difference.

Well, that is a matter of basic personal intelligence, if you have problem seeing difference
in two, not so complex events.
Russians intervened after violence is initiated by nazi supporters that whose videos you can see all over this site, also.

How in the world can you say Russia didn't attack first?

Russians citizens asked for help because of threats they are getting from guys like Alexandr Muzychko that already were killing Russians on Checen side and that is not something new. Maybe it is for you but not for them especially if they consider him responsible for slaughter of groups of marines and his clear message that he will fight Jews and Russians till the end. Anyway, there are no clashes yes and probably won't be because they will enter zones where people are asking for them and where is majority of Russian population.

Comparing Mexicans and their culture with Russian could be considered insult as I am concerned. But that is irrelevant, and your example is not good, because no one didn't take their right that Russians already had. That move clearly is showing what is planned for them.(as addition to open threats that no one could stage but they are there, available in this moment)

You serious? Government acted under threat of weapons and made decisions under those conditions. President was legally elected and accepted by whole civilized world. They decided to change things with violence without taking in consideration what will happen next. And if you are not familiar with nazi origin and ties , please browse boards here or just google it. It is ok not to be familiar with situation on the other side on planet, just like I don't know anything about Mexican rights, but ignoring historical facts and way how they declare is really irresponsible.
And what about another half of country that wants economic ties with Russia instead of empty promises from EU?

Precisely, bad for ordinary people. Ukrainians should vote for government or separation of country. If russians are smart, they will ask for that and stop further offensive measure.
