Not sure why they are giving you shit. Buy a domain name and have them copy and not move your site over to a nerd plan and see how it works out. I had 350 gigs of hdd space and was doing 2 terbytes a month on a $12 shared server without issue.
Maybe they are just trying to up sell you. I dunno. Their vps they call a shared/dedicated. Starts at 69.99 a month. Comes with cpanel and any module you will probably need for video. FFmpeg, h264 streaming etc...
