Kids who grow up on farms see this all the time. I'm of the opinion that its socially irresponsible to shelter kids from the truth that their chicken nugget, cheeseburger or bacon is more than an ambiguous piece of meat that comes neatly wrapped in a cellophane and Styrofoam package. Perhaps it will make them appreciate where there sustenance comes from.
I also think we are at a point where zoos have outlived their purpose.
