ntpdate <ntp server>


cd /usr/share/zoneinfo
ls

pick your time zone

cp timezonefile /etc/localtime

or something like:

"date 0307080106"

Would set it to July 8th, 2003 1:06am

03 = 2003
07 = July
08 = Day
0106 = 24 hour time
