The thumb of Asia is obstructing half the text in that section. - Not sure what you are talking about on that one.
All the sponsor links open in that tiny middle frame. - SIte not there to actually make money or be live. It's just for displaying flash graphics.
What possible use is there for emailing the webmaster or designer? - See above.
The blur on the links. - Just toying around.
The cheezy stock flax and/or swish text animations. - Opinion again.
The horrible logo. - Opinion.
