Back in May 1999 (in fact, the same day the WebExpo started), I made the front page of the local newspaper because of a lawsuit. It must have been a slow news day!
A girl we shot a video with back in 1995 tried to sue me for more money. The papers were filed, and the local news picked up on it. Porn is sensational! They used our real names, and even our address, in the article. Luckily they also put in my URL
That outed me in Montreal, and I guess the neighbourhood got curious. The day the story hit, I got close to 500 sign-ups, all in the Montreal area!
