Cambodia established gun control in 1956. (Pol Pot) From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
That is a very, very poor argument. None of those countries at those points in history are in the least bit comparable to the USA. You know where is comparable to the USA? Canada, the UK and Australia. all 3 countries with gun restriction and low instances of gun accidents, gun crime and people illegally owning guns. Funnily enough no instances of large parts of the population being rounded up for genocide either.
