So you also believe once you own a car your chances of mowing random people down in the street go from 0 to 1000%?
That once you own a lighter your chances of becoming an arsonist go from 0 to 1000%?
Once you own a knife your chances of stabbing someone to death go from 0 to 1000%?
That once you own a dog your chances of starting a dog fighting club go from 0 to 1000%?
Just because someone owns something, whether it be a gun, a knife, a car, a lighter, baseball bat, etc. that doesn't make the chances of that person doing anything illegal with said item more than it does anyone else.
Most gun related crimes are committed by people with no legal permit, no legal firearms and no training, they simply acquire these weapons either off the skreets or by stealing them from a legal owner, something this specific product would actually stop from happening as easily.
