From what I've read...it's no longer the cocktail of multiple pills. It's one pill. And insurance covers it. So you don't have to be rich to live anymore.
Not that I want to be sick...but if I had my choice I'd much rather have HIV and be able to take one pill a day and live a healthy life VS having a bad cancer, COPD, kidney disease, etc., etc.
I'm really interested in finding out what becomes of the preventative vaccine that Phoenix is discussing and I'm still bewildered why the one a day pill that prevents you from getting HIV in the first place isn't more widely publicized and why the FSC isn't at least talking about it and giving out the information (I guess there wouldn't be any money in the testing game if they did that)
