That Russian diplomat or delegate or whatever, their guy overseeing the Olympic park development, says on the news that there are "twenty four thousands of new hotel rooms, apartments" etc etc, then in the next minutes reporters are saying that there are tons of reports of rooms not finished, not having running water, or dirty water coming from taps, etc.
With only two days before the first events are set to start I'd say they had four years to get this done and have left it pretty damn last-minute. I think it'll go off basically and the games will get done, clusterfuck or not. But it's anybody's guess right now as to how much national pride and international admiration Russia will glean for it's fifty billion dollar investment.
