Go study runaway climate and see if you think the same. I don't think humans will adapt to 150 degree temperatures and no water, which scientists have calculated what would happen if all fossil fuels on the planet were burned. This does not even take into account the trillions of tonnes of CO2 and methane that would be released as the polar caps melted.

Mass extinction has already happened 5 different times on this planet, only a fool would think it won't happen again.
