When you have no reasonable or logical response to arguments put forward ... but find yourself past the point of no return in clinging to your odd and easily defeated views, you fabricate a new argument completely with false facts, implying things were said or suggested that weren't.

A weak attempt to shift direction and again attempt to position yourself as the "enlightened" one while cementing the belief in your own mind, that those who disagree with you clearly must be "brain washed". After all, why consider any view that conflicts with your own pre-determined narrative and that might cause you to actually think outside what is comfortable to you?
