It's owned by the same company. If you want free video hosting, you pay with your data. Alternatively, pay for your own video hosting, problem solved.

I really don;t get why you are bitching. You are being offered a trade. Free services you want in exchange for some data.
If you don't like the terms of the trade, then pay for services that do the same thing.
Google isn't a fucking charity. If you don't like the ToS, stop using them. Stop whinging like a little girl because a service provider expects something in return for the service.
