they think they will join EU and money from trees will fall... western media doesn't report real news, just propaganda... EU wants Ukraine to cut pensions (they already super low) and cut a bunch of other stuff, but even if Ukraine does all that they will not join EU it will be just the first step (might take 10+ years to join EU)... not to mention EU is broke... they are fighting to have it worse
